Ammonia Dilution Plants (Aqueous Ammonia)

Automated and manual dilution plants to produce aqueous ammonia (typ. 19–29%) from anhydrous feed. Available as compact skids or packaged plant systems up to ~10 TPH.

Dilution systems are developed to preserve product consistency and safety. We implement mass-balance dosing and inline verification sampling to ensure concentration tolerances are met. For automated plants, PID control loops maintain concentration despite feed variability; redundant level, temperature and flow instrumentation protects against overfill or incorrect dosing. Mechanical design addresses two-phase behaviour during start/stop and includes pressure relief, venting and treated condensate handling to avoid off-site emissions.

Integration with downstream storage and dosing points is standard: we size interconnecting piping, select pumps/agitators for solution homogeneity, and provide sample/analysis points as part of QA/QC. For wastewater or treatment plant interfaces we can include chemical feed skid coupling and spill containment arrangements. Routine calibration and validation plans are supplied so operators can preserve product quality and meet industry test requirements.

Technical Highlights

  • Feed control using mass flow or ratio control, redundant level instrumentation.
  • Materials: CS tanks with lining or SS304/316 for aggressive applications.
  • Optional scrubber/vent treatment for dilution off-gases; documentation for SMPV submission included.
