Ammonia Storage Facility

Turnkey design, fabrication and installation of pressurized and atmospheric ammonia storage from compact 10 KL pressurized bullets to multi-thousand-ton terminals. MAEPL delivers engineered tanks with integrated transfer systems for secure long-term storage and supply continuity.

Our storage solutions are engineered around risk reduction and operability. Layouts are optimized for personnel access, maintenance staging and emergency response routes while minimizing product stratification and thermal losses. We evaluate each project against site constraints (soil, seismicity, flood zoning, proximity to process units) and design for maintainability including manways, purge ports, instrumentation access and corrosion protection systems. For refrigerated or atmospheric tanks we provide insulation, vapor recovery and inventory management integration; for pressurized bullets we design supports, saddles and restraint systems that meet local geotechnical inputs.

We include packaged electrical & control cubicles with SCADA connectivity for level, pressure and leak alarms plus interface points for plant DCS. Spares strategy, maintenance schedules and recommended inspection intervals (thickness checks, valve re-certifications, relief valve duties) are documented up front so lifecycle cost and plant uptime are predictable. Where required, we support environmental permitting, route consent for product delivery, and coordination with emergency services.
